Bunton Some comments for Haidi about her science story: The spoken English has problems in pronunciation, etc., but this may not be a serious problem because English pronunciation and accents differ over the English-speaking world, including UK. A lot depends on how this story might be used and for what age group. I don't know when your schools start teaching English but Haidi's story, written and spoken, could combine teaching in Science and in the English language, because both Portuguese and English versions are available.The former would be easy to read and could be linked to the English version which  could be followed easily by Brazilian students, because the accent would sound right and the Portuguese version is available. I'm not sure whether the above makes sense and you know that I am hopeless with other than English. I hope that all is well in Florianopolis, All the best. Bunton Alguns comentários para a prof.ª Haidi sobre seu livro: A narração em inglês apresenta alguns problemas de pronúncia, mas não chega a ser algo sério, visto que há diferenças de sotaque e de pronúncia ao redor do mundo onde o inglês é falado, inclusive no Reino Unido. Depende muito de como este livro será usado e para qual faixa etária. Não sei quando se começa a ensinar inglês nas escolas no Brasil, mas o livro da Haidi, que é escrito e falado, poderia combinar Ciência e o aprendizado da língua inglesa, pois é uma versão bilíngue. A parte em português seria fácil de ler e poderia ser associada à parte em inglês, ficando fácil de ser acompanhada por estudantes brasileiros, uma vez que o sotaque soaria bem e se teria a versão em português para comparar. Não estou certo se o que disse acima faz algum sentido, e confesso que não sou bom com outras línguas além do inglês. Espero que esteja tudo bem aí em Florianópolis. Tudo de bom.
